The Magician's Nephew was enjoyable overall, but the ending felt very rushed.
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was paced well and had decent character development.
The Horse and His Boy was another enjoyable book overall with a rushed ending.
Prince Caspian felt oddly slow and uneventful. Probably because a ton of time is wasted walking around.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader had great characters and Eustace has solid character development. It also has a ton of variety in events and was probably my favorite of the series.
The Silver Chair was pretty good, but it's kind of annoying that they miss so many mistakes along the way. Puddleglum is probably my favorite character in the entire series.
The Last Battle was easily the worst in the entire series, but is still good enough. It's surprisingly brutal for a children's book and a little to wishy-washy at the end.
The series as a whole is written well (considering the audience).

As a reread as an adult Lion, the witch and the wardrobe and Prince Caspian were 4⭐️ books. The rest were not as exciting as I remember them being.
The Chronicles of Narnia is such a wonderful tale spanning many kingdoms and characters that you all come to love. I don’t really mind all the religious allegories like I thought I would. It was done in a way that didn’t come off too preachy (even though it was obvious). Anyway, 8/10 from me.

Some pretty intense anti-Arab and anti-dark-skinned-people sentiments.
