I'll have to get back to this sometime and finish the series. I got up to book 3 or 4.
C.S. Lewis is just a legend and there's a reason why. His stories are great and really fun to read. It is an all ages book.
Great memories of childhood, but if you didn't read these as a child, it may not be as enchanting.
All of these are perfect except for The Horse and His Boy. That one is kind of boring, so be ready for that. My personal favorite in the series is The Silver Chair.
So absolutely nostalgic. This set of novels is unmatched, and C.S. Lewis proves time and again his evidence backing up his title as one of the best writers in history. The imagery, the world-building, the creativity, the symbolize, the emotional value- so wonderful.
When I read this series as a child, it was a story filled with wonder and adventure.
When I made the mistake of re-reading it as an adult, most of the magic was gone. It's actually super tragic, and the religious subtext came to the forefront of the experience. Learned a valuable lesson. Never re-read classic books you cherished as a child.

Its been years since I read these, but as the years go on I seem to remember them less and less favorably. Lewis kind of hits you over the head repeatedly with the Allegory, and I'm not sure I really appreciate it. I probably owe it to myself to re-read these, but I can't seem to work up the energy.
I definitely recommend reading the books in the order that contained here. Such a beautiful story with timeless lessons.
