I would give these books all the stars in the universe if I could. :) Absolute perfection. I haven't been this emotional over finishing a series since I finished reading HP in high school. Loved every minute of Narnia and spending some time with Aslan.

nothing spectacular tbh

Ik zou het super graag willen uitlezen alleen het is niet interessant voor mij. Kijk als ik het zou voorlezen, zou ik het super leuk vinden. Misschien ooit voor mijn kinderen.

So well written that Narnia comes to life and breathes, along with its characters. This series was not diminished any for me since I read it as a kid.

I really enjoyed the magical elements C.S. Lewis introduced from the beginning. The wardrobe served as a gateway to a world filled with talking animals, fauns, and icy, interesting landscapes. I thought the book created a sense of adventure and fantasy, and I loved the balance between the lighter moments of characters like Mr. Tumnus and the more serious conflict between Aslan and the White Witch. While Edmund's personal journey from betrayal to forgiveness was a highlight, I felt the other Pevensie brothers were a little bland and needed more emotional depth.  Nonetheless, the themes of sacrifice, courage, and hope are beautifully presented in the story, making it an enjoyable and meaningful book, especially for young readers.
