(2.5/5) Well, this book wasn’t it for me. I really loved reading the previous books in the series so I was really excited to start this book, but even from the beginning I felt like this book wasn’t going to be a hit for me. I remember starting this book a couple of months before and quitting it again because I couldn’t get into it. I finally found the motivation to start again, but it didn’t get any better. I honestly just didn’t understand what was going on in this book and it felt like 2 completely different books.

This book has a pov of Grayson and Jameson, and to me it was just confusing at times. Like I said, it was just two different books. They weren’t connected at all? Or maybe I missed something? At round 40% into the book I just decided to skip Jamesons part of the book because I didn’t understand a thing of his story. When I made that choice, the reading went a lot quicker because I did enjoy Grayson his pov. I was a bit scared that the ending of the book wasn’t going to make any sense because I made this choice, but honestly? It felt like I didn’t need Jameson his part in this book? We’ll see what happens whenever I read the next book in the series, but for now I’ll just forget about Jameson in this book

I liked that there were two stories going on at once. You got to follow Grayson and Jameson on their adventure of learning more about where they came from.

OMFG I HATE THAT FUCKING SKANKITY PANKITY EVE WOMAN. SOMEONE GENUINELY JUST PUT HER ON A HITLIST LIKE YOU HAVE MONEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING. JESUS CHRIST. anyway I really liked the storyline and al the action and I liked the povs of Grayson and Jameson. Both of their stories were so captivating. Now let’s talk about Jameson secret because when I tell you I knew that it was fishy that Alice as being so heavily mentioned in the flashback I WOULD HAVE NEVER GUESSED THAT SHE WAS STILL ALIVE. I thought it was suspicious but that was wild and I lowkey almost screamed and did scream in whispers due to the fact it is almost 1am. Again this was just so fun to read and entertaining. I don’t really have many complaints about this and I think it was the right book for me to read at this moment in time.
