I ate this UP!! pun intended. I absolutely LOVED this book. I am a whore for small towns, so I loved the atmosphere... especially the October vibes. I love horror movies and spooky books, but I realized I haven't read much horror. Despite this not being "scary" to me, I now want to make it a point to read more horror (my tbr will be happy lol). I was fully invested in the characters and plot (it had great pacing). The themes were a bit on the nose, but I didn't care. I appreciated Rory's personal journey and how that was reflected though the paranormal elements. ALSO, this book had me giggling, Harrisons humor defiantly aligns with mine. I look forward to reading more from her.
