This was sk much better than I thought it would be. Picked it up on a whim for something to listen to and found myself focused on it. I really enjoyed the character development and how the house was almost a character in itself.

I absolutely loved this. Although I do agree with some who said that it was "predictable" or that there was nothing new about it...it's that predictability that had me on the edge of my seat! The curiosity of "what-will-she-do-now" was still ever present. And it's one of the major reasons I enjoyed this thoroughly, because it's not that common for me to find a "predictable" book to still be as exciting as this was.

“What’s happened?” I asked.

This was a quick and creepy read. Even gave me a nightmare! The ending was too quick or else I would have given it 5 stars.
