I dunno how to rate this book as I have mixed feelings about it, and the negative ones outweigh at the moment. I loved the first three books in this series

the writing style is still amazing imo, and I wish there was more of this universe and characters I could read
but the story was all over the place in this volume? so many plotlines were introduced but then only slightly touched and not much expanded on

plus for the blurb stating ophelia and thorn would be “as united as they’d never been before” there was a severe lack of them together which was a huge letdown, as the scenes with the two of them together were great

I HATE open endings
and I can’t believe I’m being robbed of ophelia introducing thorn to her family properly after everything that’s happened and the relationship they’ve developed; bye
they both deserved better a better ending ☹️

it wasn’t all bad but it left me feeling unsatisfied in a lot of areas
