Cant rate higher because it's a novella, but GFD, what a fucking bombass story! This was so good?!!! WTF? The characters, plot, dynamic, tension were so sexy, sensual, challenging, annoying, and everything all at once? How does Kennedy Ryan pulled that off? Now I regret that I didn't pick up a book by Kennedy sooner because my audible premium is ending soon 🤣 Definitely following up with GRIP and STILL. And that ending?

And can we please appreciate Maxine Mitchell's audiobook narration, because she's so fucking amazing and talented!!! Her voice was so seductive in Hail Mary by Kandi Steiner and it matches Mary's voice the best, and here? She played so many characters and I'm able to distinguish them pretty clearly. Ugghh, I'll bingeing this series on audiobook just because of her!

This made me so excited to pick up her other books that i've already owned!

This was a good quick read. Well I listened to the audio book. This was the first of a series however I don’t think this was the first book released. I am interested in seeing where this goes with the bomb that was just dropped !

A good teaser for the Grip series (and includes characters from the Soul Series as well).

Borrowed via Audible Escape. I’ve been a Maxine Mitchell fan. Jakobi Diem was new to me and I’m glad to have found another narrator I enjoy.
