Gory, grotesque and disturbing are the terms I've used consistently for describing this 3 book comic series. I was a bit underwhelmed by the ending, not because it was bad but because this could have definitely gone on for a few more volumes. There seems to be so much more to tell and I am a bit saddened that it's over. I've grown a love for a few of the characters and the artistic style was wonderful, each creature was more disturbing then the next. I didn't think I would have been open to this style of comic but I'm happy I tried it.

Great ending. I'm so glad I read this once it was completed, it's too gripping. I don't know how I would have coped if I had to wait for each issue to see what happens

The third volume of Gail Simone's Clean Room cleans everything up -- more or less, though one shouldn't get too strict about the definition of "clean up" here. The world's definitely a mess at the end, and the book doesn't chart the recovery, or even really the recovery of the main characters, just the very beginnings of it. Assuming that Chloe ever does recover.
There's plenty of gore and creepiness, as you'd expect from this series, now including a creepy, creepy baby.
I would say that I didn't quite understand Astrid's behaviour throughout the book; part of it seemed inconsistent and left me with definite questions about what was going through her mind, which weren't really answered. And it felt like things were resolved very quickly, as if the story had to be jammed into this final volume -- it made Astrid's solution feel a little too easy.
Still, a fun series, especially if you're more into horror than I am!

This felt a little rushed and somewhat anti-climactic compared to the rest of the series.

A thrilling ending to one of the better sci-fi horror comics I've read. There were opportunities for this to drag out indefinitely, and I think it could have used maybe another volume, but Simone and co really kept it neatly contained here. Really well done.

The end tied up most of the loose ends, but I kind of just thought, "Okay, that's the end of the series?"

Twisted until the very end. There's still some major questions, but the book ends well.
