I loved this! It's various people each writing on a different part of the body, touching on the science but more focused on the cultural and symbolic significance behind them! Super interesting and a lot to think about :)

I loved this book! It's exactly my kind of book; a bit factual, a bit personal essay, a bit cultural-perception. I have a fascination with the human body and how we interact with it socially and culturally and this was just great.
It would have been five star but the 'Womb' essay was a bit of a disappointment. The rest of the essays all explored a personal relationship with the body part in question, which is what I found fascinating, but this one was written by a man who mainly seemed to discuss the tragedy of miscarriage, and as the last essay in the book it meant I ended on a bit of a sour note.
All in all I loved this and it was a great little book to start the year off with.
