I seriously think I'm torturing myself with continuing this series. Why can't I just stop reading things???

Ok, anyway. I honestly don't even know what to say about this book. Aside from the fact that there really is no plot, I found this book to be insanely boring.

Also...animals...wtf?

The switiching of POV's, combined with the switching of 1st person to 3rd person, really drove me crazy. If this is Beauty's story, why do we need the POV of Tristian?

At this point, I would rather read FSoG...

Better than the first one but I don’t know if it’s because I knew what to expect

So I liked this book better than the last only for Tristans POV! The fact that his povs are written in first person helped me connect with him better than Beauty and the other characters. I was getting his thoughts and feelings first hand. Beauty, as much as I liked her in the first book, ended up annoying me in this one. I guess I got irritated with her airhead ways. I was tired of hearing her just take everything and not care about anything else. The first one she was interesting because she had a rebellious streak that I loved. This one not so much. And I'm unsure I really care for that ending and reading more about the sexcapades. Still like the writing, though, as Anne really knows how to stimulate the imagination.

The "rebellious slave Prince Tristan" made me forget all other characters. The village itself is more interesting and enticing than the castle as far as I'm concerned.
