I’m not going to lie, this book was my favorite book so far in this series.

Don’t get me wrong, the first book was entertaining and great, but certain things that happened in the previous book bumped it down to a 3 star read.

This book was far more entertaining and didn’t feel like it dragged on. I loved the banter between Seraphina and Tyler and I love that they got to know each other before they started their ‘friends-with-benefits’ deal.

I loved their game of 21 questions and I love that they didn’t stop once they got to 21. It was their cute, little thing together and I loved every second of it. I love that Tyler was so caring and understanding with Sera, and just caught on to her schedule and what she liked and didn’t like. He was extremely attentive and I just swoons.

I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

All the feels. All the tears. All the stars. This book was a love letter and I'm keeping it in my heart.

Sera changes schools mid-year and moves across the country with no place to live. Her brother offers up a spare room in the house he shares with his teammates. It's only supposed to be temporary, and things get infinitely more complicated when her one-night stand from last Halloween turns out to be her new roommate Tyler. Unable to resist the other, Tyler and Sera agree to a friends with benefits situation to keep things simple since they both have so much going on. But things don't stay simple for long.

I can't begin to tell you how authentic Sera's story felt. ADHD? Overwhelmed? Facing a possible positives BRCA test result? Her emotional struggles were so poignant and so personal that I couldn't help but cry. And Tyler was just so supportive and perfect for her.

Please read this book. Please fall in love with these characters. Please cry with me.

I don’t like giving books I’ve finished less than 3 stars because I obviously read it and enjoyed some aspect of it. This was just meh for me. Slow, but somehow fast??? Sera a little wild but I loved her. Wouldn’t read again but a cute read!

Seraphina and Tyler (or should I say Tink and Hades 🤭) had me hooked from the very beginning. I love a hero who doesn't like to talk and isn't fond of people but is entirely different with the heroine, and Tyler delivers on all fronts. Our hero doesn't communicate much outside his circle of friends, but when Seraphina comes into his life, he simply can't stay away. This gives us plenty of moments filled with flirtation, tension, and OMG, how adorable and caring he is with her. And let's not forget 🔥🔥🔥

Seraphina is another incredible character. I wasn't prepared for the emotional depth her story would bring, but I think Avery handled the topic very well. I found their insecurities and dilemmas to be quite realistic. Despite these challenges, they know how to communicate.

I listened to the audiobook, and I couldn't stop smiling most of the time, which earned me some strange looks while listening on the bus, but it was worth it! 😅

I also loved the bonus chapters. It was so nice to get a glimpse into the future of these two characters, who have already found a place in my heart.

In summary, I am completely obsessed with this book.
