i just randomly saw this book i was like why not let's try it because i love rh books and rood wasn't bad i mean i've definitely read better books but also worse this one felt too rushed i mean the whole book happened in like 2 weeks and that's not really my thing and also i was kinda sad that the 2 guys weren't together too but we can't have everything can we nur it was still kinda good

This was my first dive into hockey romance and I was close to DNFing it but am super glad that I didn't. I listened to the audiobook version and I think that had a lot to do with my initial distaste. The growth of all the characters was rewarding and the spice...SPICY.

It's been a hot minute since I've read a MFM...and I don't think I'll be rushing to read another soon.
Upfront, I will say that all of the characters were very likeable (minus Trina's cheating ex, he can kick rocks). But aside from that, this book felt very fast. I don't mind a falls quick and hard romance but this was like all time record for speed at which the characters fell in love and I couldn't get into it.
This book hits the spice meter somewhere in the middle - if you're wanting a quick spicy book I would say this is a good option for you.
But as a slow burn, passion to romance...this was not for me.
