The flow of the storyline was very natural and made it easy to read quickly. The amount of spice to plot ratio was very balanced and thw characters felt very real. Some of the dialogue was a little simple but it got the job done! Highly recommended why choose read!

This was a spicy and fun, albeit shallow read. It was a good palate cleanser, and I don’t think it was trying to be anything other than a feel-good junk food read. My primary annoyance was the author’s overuse of what I would consider incorrect colloquialisms (ie “home in” instead of “hone in”— which I now know is also used after looking it up, but since it was used several times in a short span, I found it irritating).

I liked this book, but this is not my favorite hockey romance that I've read. Some of the inner monologue for the characters was cringey and boring to read. Also, for some reason I just really don't like the name Trina.
