I liked this book, but this is not my favorite hockey romance that I've read. Some of the inner monologue for the characters was cringey and boring to read. Also, for some reason I just really don't like the name Trina.

In this one, we follow Trina's story after discovering that her deadbeat boyfriend has been cheating, but I loved how she found out! Her dog was eating the other woman's panties! It was a hilarious way to start a book, and I loved it so much! I hoped the comedic vibe would continue throughout the story, but we lose sight once the trio hooks up. Don't get me wrong, there were still a lot of funny moments, and I was rooting for Trina throughout the book. Still, I needed a little more in the end, especially on the dramatic side. We had so much potential from both Jasper and Selena. Still, in the end, they fizzled out instead of fulfilling the chaos they were eluding to.
I get why this book blew up like it did because when it first came out, it was EVERYWHERE, and I didn't hate it. It was okay, but I just wanted a little more from it. I was kind of sucked into all of the hype that was centered around this book when it first came out and I did really enjoy the first half of the book and I didn't hate the second half, I just wanted more from it.

“I don’t think Ryker wants me to stay.” Chase smiles and whispers in my ear, “Let me tell you a secret. He woke up early to wash and dry your jeans and undies. I discovered him in the laundry room, hunting around for dryer sheets, and then he asked if I had flour and eggs and all that food stuff.” Is that my heart fluttering? Yeah, I think it is. Dryer sheets and pancakes. “I like pancakes,” I say, loud enough for Ryker to hear. “Everyone likes pancakes,” Ryker grumbles, but I can translate his pissy mood now, and his words mean I thought you were leaving when I wanted you to stay for breakfast.“

“I have my guys, my dog, and some books to read. The rest is just noise.”

What’s crazy is I feel this was almost more realistic than any three-way relationship sets in a contemporary romance.

Yes, the moving in together wasn’t as realistic but I’m talking about the dynamic of communication and being agreeable on ground rules for a relationship involving three people.

Although I do wish there was more graphic spice. What I did get, was a insight into a healthy ménage.

I really want to get a physical copy of this and I definitely will recommend and reread!
