Never really caught my interest until very late in the book, then lost credibility when the "reveal" was Stalin's son, who was raised alone in the forest.

A real page turner with some terrific characters and great twists. Very good scene setting and a really atmospheric story.. Amazing last few chapters as all is revealed.

Great thriller centered on modern day [and past] Russia. Best Harris s work after Fatherland .[return][return]Highly recommended.

Having been in Russia during this period, I can attest to not only the accuracy but also the essence of the novel's descriptions. Loved the writing, the ending a bit sensational, but exciting.
