Confusing and strange, but not compelling enough for me to love it. I DID however love the art style, and the vibrant colours. It was gorgeous to look at, but unfortunately a bit incoherent in plot. The underlying mystery/drama is a great hook, but the story doesn’t give much time to it, more heavily featuring random side characters and b-plots. I’m still unclear on certain characters, certain plot decisions, and even the name of the series (like, I get it, but… why???)
I can’t decide if I’ll read the next one, but I do appreciate the attempts at something unique and fun.

Although I did not really like the characters and I found the plot hard to follow - somehow I kept wanting to read this story. There was something that made me keep going.

Snotgirl Vol 2 continues the hilarity with some paranormal activity thrown in. You see more insecurities in not just Lottie but her friends as well. And the douche bag OMG. I wanted to punch him. Misty (or should I say Minnie) is a riot. Love it. Next volume.

Fun to read for it's unhinged characters, but feels like a lot of plotholes / loose threads.
