Junie B. Jones books are simply the best children's beginning chapter books out there. Junie's perspective is unique and she's so funny for everyone. I read this aloud to my kids back when they were little and we listened to it again on a car trip just recently: they loved it just the same. Junie B. always learns something new... in this case about "finders keepers."

Not my favorite Junie B, but it still got some laughs. She was way too manic about those furry gloves, so the whole premise of the plot seemed really wacky. But the moral was good and we had a nice talk about helping things find their proper homes.

I stumbled across Junie B Jones in the “I’m with the banned” section of my Libby so I decided to check her out and see what the problem was and there’s literally no reason Junie B Jones (or any book) should be banned. If you’re someone who think JBJ should be banned then you need a hobby or something.
Also a classic! What a way to spend 30 minutes giggling with Junie B Jones and her silly ways! She’ll always have a special place in my heart!!

Junie B.'s new fuzzry furry black mittens have been STOLEN! And the thief did NOT take them to the lost and found! But Junie B. DID find some treasures in that big box - if only she could HAVE them! Lots of silliness here, but a good lesson about how "finders keepers" isn't always the best policy. My six year old boys loved it.

H (4) says, "this book makes me to learn how Junie B Jones goes to school every day and how she learns to not take things that she doesn't have."

I don't like Junie B. Jones as a character. I find her annoying and rude. However, the books are entertaining for early readers.
