I don’t want to wait for the Bennet Paloma book I’m so exciteddddd! These feel like a fresh take on the usual hockey romance and it’s so refreshing.
I am a MESS okay I love Matt Fredderic & Rosalie Shariff so bad. I adore an angsty little romance where the characters are messy, and they wear their grief on their sleeve and dont always make the right choices and still end up with the right person bcs idk it's so real life yk? Anyways I cant wait for the next Undone book in the seriesssss

Needed more hockey.
MCs were overall pretty loveable, nice supporting cast, hated the ex. I liked that Ro and Matt became safe spaces for each other. I wish there was less spice, but really the book was probably not overly spicy? I did get the cringe and ick quite a bit, but romance is just really not my jam. Corrine did get a little repetitive with her descriptors (if I had a nickel for every time Freddy was called a handsome hockey superstar and she referred to his 'signature' grin I could pay for my next hockey game trip). I had a better time than I thought I would, but yeah (contemporary and het) romance is still not going to be a genre I reach for very often.
Nearly forgot to give props to the author for her great care in representing learning disabilities and grief.
TLDR: cute book, grief well handled, needed more hockey
