I read Unsteady a couple months ago in one sitting, randomly picked it up at target and page 1 had me hooked. This was no different. I cannot wait for the next book, it seems the author releases one a year.. I am praying the next one comes out sooner.. I truly hope we are getting both Bennett and Torens book. I am gnawing at the bars of my enclosure for those books. Peyton Corinne has quickly become one of my immediate buy authors, when she releases I will purchase and read ASAP.

DID NOT FINISH: 47%

It’s just too heavy. I don’t like drama centered romances. I am 100% a romcom girlie.  I want my romances to make me laugh. This one just has way too much going on and it’s hard for me to care about these characters.  Also, it drives me insane that the author outright names the title and artist of the songs in the book playlist throughout the book. I hate it and it feels jarring.

This was cute! I think I liked it more than the first one, and the authour's writing definitely improved. Sometimes it felt a bit long, but overall it was a sweet and spicy romance with a lot of emotional depth.

i enjoyed & loved this one far better than the first. i love how it deeply it went into grief, loss, love, relationships/friendship dynamics, learning disabilities, it was all balanced so well. it felt like my heart wanted to burst from all the love you see in here, as well as the pain & hurt all the characters experienced. the prologue was cringe, but i still def recommend lol
