I liked the flashbacks throughout the book, it gave perspective to other Freddy and Ro’s emotions and responses.
I also loved how every chapter ended and I just kept wanting to continue reading it. I thought it was really cool how this book took place at the same time as the first book in the series too!

This slow burn deserves a slow clap.  I think this is a rare occasion where I ended up liking the second book in the series more than the first.  Peyton Corinne has written two main characters that are incredibly relatable and that you cannot help but fall in love with.  Loved this book from start to finish and I'm really hoping a third book is added soon!

Once again, knocks it out of the park. Great writing, emotive characters, and amazing storytelling. My only thing is that it took a minute for me to realize she had changed the name of the friend from the first book.
