Since I am trying to read all the books on my new lifestyle, why not read a salacious and fun one? While I enjoyed reading about the benefits of Vegan sex (who wouldn't?), I understand some reviews I've previously seen where there is occasional shaming of the author's partners who weren't Vegan. While the author is certainly entitled to her own opinion, I think using her experiences ended up backfiring in appearing a little insensitive. I think the sexual experiences of Vegan partners and the scientific data on herbs and increased blood flow in the body (when we exclude animal fats) were positive messages- and didn't need the comparison to people who don't eat this way.
I'm a little torn, because I'm sure the impetus for including the good and bad was to illuminate the vast difference in why changing diet can be worth the effort. I just think the approach failed and made me feel more icky than 100% uplifted. While this is okay for someone like me who has fully transitioned, if you were on the fence, it feels like judgmental Veganism:-/
