Parts of it were funny and clever, but it wasn’t really for me. More like 2.5 rounded up.

A silly and fun read. However I was left with questions, issues, and was dissatisfied with the ending.
How did Frederick and his family end up turned? Did his mom turn him? Were they turned together?
The romance build up wasn't very convincing. I low key hated Frederick the whole time. Cassie was smitten but I don't see why. He wasn't charming or sexy. He seemed awkward and a little icky.
Cassie's insecurities were also frustrating.
The end. Omfg. He is kidnapped by his mother and betrothed only to be thwarted by Cassie threatening to post a TikTok? So lackluster and a little lazy.
