Absolutely totally loved this! QB just gets it every time!! Also, the spice is SPICY!

I really enjoyed Theo and Avery’s story. It was addicting. I wish there were more level headed men like Theo, his parenting was sexy. I did feel that this one was a little too redundant with the “I shouldn’t but…” scenarios but still very enjoyable read!

My first Q.B. Tyler and definitely won't be my last. Love the age gap, love the spice, love THEODORE.

The Worst Kept Secret worked out well as Theo's daughter is also in an age gap romance so who is he really to judge?

This was spicy and angsty, but I did not love Avery.
She felt annoying and needy too much for me.

Theo is a sweety but sexy as hell!

QB Tyler has the best spice lately

It took me a bit to get into this one and I almost DNF’d. There wasn’t anything specially wrong with it, I just didn’t really mesh with it as much as I’d hoped I would which is odd because it checks all my boxes.

Mood rating, for the vibes and the vibes only

I loved this book and its smuttylicious plot. It provided the escapism my brain needed to tune out the world and read simply for pleasure. I completely lost track of time while reading and devoured it almost in one sitting.

However, the only thing I could think about when I finished it is how much potential this book had to be even better if only it were longer and explored its underlying themes and characters more thoroughly.

I wanted more scenes where Avery & Theo opened up about one another in a more intimate way apart from sex. I don’t mind when a book is mainly smut when that’s the dynamic that started and drives the story, but I missed reading them develop a deeper connection without having to lean on our knowledge of their existing closeness.

I also wish the ending wasn’t so rushed. I mean, the whole reason they couldn’t be together was because of Lucas, and after the big blowout, in just one week he simply comes to terms with it all on his own? Disney could never.

And what about the root of Avery’s supposed daddy issues? She seemed to have a pretty good relationship with both her parents… This really needed to be longer.
