She never misses - QB Tyler writes with honesty; forbidden but so dreamy.

It gave me nothing to desire, no pacing at all.
The spice was given within the first 7 chapters so for me there was no reason to keep reading honestly, with these kinds of 'taboo' books I want to feel the desire and building but it did not unfortunately.

I never doubted my queen would write a good book. I was a little skeptical when she said this duo would be spicier than Whitney and JP. I'm happy to say she was not wrong.

Avery is a new college graduate, and celebrating her achievements with friends and family. This includes her best friend's dad, former NFL player Theo Graham. After some dancing around their attraction, things pick up quickly. There is so much spice in this book. There's something about the way QB writes the banter, the spice, the dual POVs. I'm almost mad I finished it so quickly, because now I have to wait for another QB hit to be released.

I have two small critiques: the build up of the relationship, and the build up of the breaking point.
Spoiler Avery had a moment where she talks about kissing Theo, and then a sexy moment with him in his car during winter break. I almost wish there were more moments of realizing Avery was drawn to Theo, or moments where he notices that Avery isn't just the girl next door, she's the woman he's thinking about.

With the breaking point, it was inevitable that Avery and Theo would get caught while they were trying to hide their relationship from Lucas and Raegan. I almost wish there was some back and forth between Avery and Lucas. His quickness to forgive his best friend for seeing his father behind his back after two weeks seems quick, regardless of their history.

All of that said, I adore Avery and Theo. There's something about an age gap romance where the MMC hasn't dated a whole lot, and finds an attraction to someone he feels he shouldn't be with. Now, I also need to give some love to a supporting couple, Raegan and Wes. I loved them so much. This is one of those times I loved the minor characters in a novel almost as much as the main characters. I would LOVE to read their story.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next release, because they just keep getting better and this is absolutely setting the bar high.

i dnf this book at 68%, i’m sad how i couldn’t get thru this book since there was so many things going on to comprehend like characters and most of the chapters were pretty lengthy but i really love this authors writing and her books are always gonna be it for me but this book is something i couldn’t come pass by but i did enjoy the smut scenes and how the storyline is.

A really fun easy read that didn’t feel like 300 pages at all!
