⚠️Check triggers⚠️

Avery just graduated from college and returned to her hometown to start the next chapter of her life. She moves back in with her parents which puts her next door to the hottest man she's ever known, Theo, who's her best friend's dad. Avery has wanted Theo for a long time but hasn't been able to be with him except for a few stolen kisses last summer. She soon finds herself in a secret relationship with Theo that becomes complicated when they decide they want more than just a physical relationship.

This was a delicious fun read filled with great spice. I have to say, QB really knows how to write forbidden romances. Something about the way she writes them makes them feel extra forbidden and scandalous. I also loved how she develops strong relationships between the main characters. Avery and Theo are no exception. They have great chemistry and love for one another. Their connection is undeniable. I loved the sneaking around and stolen glances between them. I thought the ending was sweet, although, it did feel a little rushed. Also, I was so hoping we'd get a spicy FaceTime scene with all the texting they were doing. I hope we get one in a future book because I know it would be SO hot.

Thank you to Q.B. and Good Girls PR for the early copy!

Hmmmm this wasnt as angsty as the other qb tyler books, still a fun read

This book feels off vs author’s other books

Theo (45) and Avery (21)
Best friend’s dad, age gap, forbidden romance.
If you want taboo and spice, this is it. Theo and Avery were so good together, I was jealous because none of my friends had hot dads.  Although I don’t know why it kept saying Avery had daddy issues, she seemed to have a great relationship with her father- and so did TheoπŸ˜‚
Other than Rebecca, every character in this book was likeable.
Honestly I don’t have much more to say about this. You should read it. 4.5πŸ”₯
