December 2024 Amazon First Reads selection. It was okay, but there was the possibility for more development, both on the plot and character front. I don't think the novella size was a factor, because a lot can be packed into 130 pages.

DID NOT FINISH: 35%

It was short and I probably could've finished it, but it was not captivating and written a little YA for me.

If I am just going for entertainment, this was cute short story about a woman looking for a rare book for her dying favorite great aunt. It had a little drama and intrigue. But then the other side of me says (spoiler) what is wrong with her that FMC would trust and flip so easily and without proof that the MMC had actually changed.
