Why the Sackler’s are the way they are (the people who created/marketed/pushed Oxy).

Well written and mostly interesting. It can drag a bit in some places and a few storylines just kind of flame out with no resolution, so why bother telling it?

I haven't felt this angry reading every page of a book in a very long time. The greed. The lack of empathy. The refusal to hold themselves accountable for anything. The sense of victimhood. This freaking family!

I have told basically everyone that I know how good this book is. As someone who didn’t know much about the opioid crisis, this was so interesting. It was informative, super interesting and Patrick Radden Keefe really made it compelling for all, bringing so many accounts from different people who actually had encountered the Sackler family in person. Super well written, I will be reading more of his work.
