This was an excellent second book in the Fogg Lake series. It starts with a bit a bang and sets up Sierra's situation from the start. It takes a little longer than usual for us to meet North, but it was lovely to encounter another Jones (have to re-read the Arcane books;). From the first moment the tension between North and Sierra is on the page and a lot of fun.
I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery. There were definitely a couple of twists I didn't see coming. I liked that both of them were on a journey to finding their calling and passion.
Jayne Ann Krentz has an easy to read voice that pulls you along the story and keeps you going until the end.

I like the psychic stuff in the book. Interesting the gifts each person had. Some adult love scenes

Krentz essentially writes the same book over and over, but I love that book. And the variations each time are fun.

I found Night and Sierra very likable. It was interesting watching them work together. I appreciated that there was very little animosity between them from the start. I found the mystery very good. There was actually more than one mystery going, but one was a setup for the final book. I liked how Night and Sierra worked together. This is a great read.

I felt bad I started this series and then forgot about it. I'll try to read the final book in June. I like these, they sound complicated when you explain them to other people but, while you are reading it, every thing is explained in an easy way. Characters from the first book make guest appearances in this book but it can be read as a standalone. This one is about North (who is losing his talent) and Sierra who has a knack for identifying "hot artifacts". I loved that it led them back to Fogg Lake (and the greater mystery of the whole series) and we got to see Harmony again. There is also a very interesting scene during a sleepover at a library.
