my favorite of the series so far!

Lukas is hands down my favorite. My heart absolutely shattered for Ivy for everything Paul had out her through. And who knew that one tattoo appointment would end up changing her entire world? The chemistry her and Lukas had was so good. Add in two plot twists that made my jaw drop. And it’s just the perfect book.

Hovering between 2.5 and 3 stars. Would've been higher if it wasn't for what happened towards the end where I started to dislike Ivy and her daughter on top of her unlikable ex-husband. It was also kind of anti-climactic. Lukas redeemed this book for me.

Wow, my 2nd review of the year in the span of 2 days. Amazon was giving this book for free sometime last year so I decided to hold on to it. It ended up being one of the best decisions of my life. [b:Lukas|42832555|Lukas (Ashes & Embers, #3)|Carian Cole|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1542315028s/42832555.jpg|44445086] has everything I LOVE in a novel. Great characters, plot, older woman younger man romance (I'm a sucker for it) and dual 1st person POV. I wish more authors would write older woman and younger man romances the way this one was done because I would HIGHLY recommend it.
