This book took my breath away. I could not put it down for the life of me. Lukas was one of the most romantic heroes that I’ve ever read about. You could tell how much he loved Ivy from the start. He’s quickly become one of my favorite book boyfriends. Ivy was such a strong heroine, who I found to be relatable as well. This book was amazing and I’m excited to continue the rest of the series

Lukas was born an old soul. He is in his twenties. He loves antiques, he plays the violin and has gargoyle statues in his church style house. He is so sweet and loving.

Ivy is in her thirties and just recently became divorced. She has two kids, is finally discovering herself and doing the things her ex wouldn't let her. Walking into the tattoo shop lead to much more.

I loved this story!! Lukas is so sweet and caring. I'm glad that they found each other. After a lot of sweet talking and concerns about the age difference they found love. I can't wait to find out about the rest of the band. 5 stars

Lukas is an old soul, although 24 he is wise beyond his years and when he knows something is not working he takes care of it. When Ivy walks into his tattoo parlor for an appointment, Lukas knows two things. He finds the single mother attractive and he wants to get to know her better.

Ivy was not only betrayed and dumped by her husband, she is still shook up about it. Meeting Lukas she is not sure what is happening between him but is nervous about it. She is 36 to Lukas 24, she has kids and an ex. Lukas believes in them as a couple though and goes about proving to Ivy he is worth the risk. Can Ivy sort through her feelings and learn to trust again.

You know you are in for a treat when the first page has you sitting up and spiraling from the content. I was torn up for Ivy, I thought the author nails her emotions from the get go. There is also a big shock that I never saw coming and grappled with my feelings for the parties involved at the end. Great book, will go back and check out the other books in the series.

I actually cannot get enough of these books. This one was the turn of Lukas & Ivy! With every book i read, i fall more in love with the Valentine men. Lukas may be young but boy, does he know how to treat a woman!!!!
I adored their story and truly didnt want it to end.

Soul mates

Oh, Lukas....He's such a romantic old soul. So far, my fav of the boys! The turn of events surprised me, but I loved every minute of it.

I was enjoying this very much until the last five chapters.

*spoilers*
I don't care how shitty your life has been Lukas or how "deep" you think your connection with Ivy is. Of course, she's gonna believe her newly eighteen-year-old daughter instead of some guy she's known for a few months. She'd be a terrible mother not to. So you were "heartbroken" that she threw the ring at you? Boo hoo.  She had the right to do that and to be upset because she just saw her freaking daughter come out of your room in just a towel, dude. Also, why did Katie have to be unalived? wtf

Lukas...

The world and women need more men like Lukas. Chivalry is not dead, at least not in this story. I loved Lukas and Ivy, and their story was so sweet. The little bomb there at the end, well, I guess we'll just have to see how that goes. This is such a great series, I love this world.
