Re-read.

I'm wondering to myself...why do the boys in Ashes and Embers feel the need to belittle themselves by dating such judgemental women. In Ivy's defense (although not much of one) She's put off a little by the age gap. But other than that.. She and her friends are almost as bad as Evie.

Well... this had potential. Then it all kind of collapsed. It got soap opera crappy REAL QUICK.

And this tying other books in shit is only good to a point. Worry about THIS book and not the overall series. FOCUS.

this was such a great book! i was really able to connect to the characters and the plot. i can’t really give this the full 5 stars because i actually wished that the story could’ve developed a little bit more at the end were kinda left with that big bomb that was dropped, we didn’t get to see it all unravel though. it was a nice ending but i just really can’t get over how unfulfilling it was.
