I did not like this as much as Seven Year Slip but it was still good! I wish there were more scenes with Anders than the people in the town though. Honestly, I didn’t care about them that much 😭

I loved the premise of this: woman's car breaks down in a strange and perfect little town that turns out to be the storybook universe town of her favorite romance series. Sounds great, but I didn't ever really feel a connection to her or the main love interest and felt a little dropped into the town myself (except I hadn't read the books and didn't care about the characters). And I didn't really care for the ending AT ALL

DID NOT FINISH: 2%

I couldn’t tolerate the narrator

I could not get into this book initially, mainly bc the FMC and MMC didn’t really come together until like 30% in. But then I fell so hard for Anders and his “sweethearts.” SWOON. Overall it was a very cute and wholesome story about writing your own story, not everything is “happily ever after, the end”, our stories are always being written, etc etc.

**to note: a lot of grammar/editing errors in this book, which drove me insane.
