This is the fourth (and sadly final) book in the Winslow Brother’s collection and while it can be read as a stand-alone, the main characters in the first two books are strong supporting characters, so knowing the context behind all the brother talk and family banter is worth it! This series follows four tight-knit brothers who all have some major emotional baggage when it comes to women. Each brother, in some capacity, has that alpha male personality that brings all the spontaneous, sexy and entertaining vibes. However, when they each start top open their hearts to love, we see a soft side that brings all the feels.
I’ve been waiting for Remi’s story and IT. WAS. EVERYTHING!! Seriously can there be a better guy on this planet?! I am always a sucker for the single-parent trope but when it mixes in a second chance romance with flashbacks from the past and the most caring and sincere hero, I am a goner. Maria was such a likable FMC, and while a lot of this story could have focused on her grief or a potential grudge from the past, I love how it really was about her life moving forward now that she is Izzy’s legal guardian. I say this every review, but the texts between the Winslow brother clan as well as the group text between the ladies was perfect. I am ready to join the Winslow’s and hang at Friday night dinner!
What to expect:
-Second chance romance
-Single parent trope
-NYC setting
-Real estate profession
-Open door scenes
-Dual POVs
-Flashbacks from HS
-Group texts

Man oh man I loved this series! This was the perfect ending to such a great series. I’ve waited for Remy to get his HEA and his book did not disappoint. Maria was the perfect heroine for him…..I loved her and lil Izzy. I just love this family and am sad to see this series come to an end.
4 Stars!
Tropes: Second chance
Triggers: Death of relatives
Liked: Remy is the dream guy! Ridiculously hot and all in with Maria whilst also being a big softy with little Izzy. He really is perfect. I also loved the Winslow family dynamic, not forgetting the larger than life add-on that is Thatch! Plus it was great to read the flashbacks of their high school days together.
This is a great example of second chance book where it’s been so long since they were actually together (over 2 decades) that it was a lovely case of serendipity when they get stuck in the elevator together. No heroine spending her years alone gathering dust and pining for the hero.
Disliked: It was slightly too much on the lovey dovey side for me. There was pretty much no drama from the start. Found myself skipping bits, which I never do with a Max Monroe book!
OW/OW drama: None. No mentions of OM. H’s ex mentioned but only to explain her leaving him at the alter years ago.
