I have been waiting for Remy's story for what feels like forever, and Max Monroe sure made the wait worth it.

Throughout Ty, Jude, and Flynn's stories, Remy was always in the background, observing as his brothers all fell in love and knowing he'd missed his chance when he was stood up at the altar fifteen years ago. I've needed Remy to get his happily ever after, and Maria Baros was just the woman to give it to him.

As the oldest Winslow brother, Remy is a protector and nurturer down to his core. We've seen it with his family, but he so easily gave that same care and commitment to Maria and her newborn when Maria came back into his life. The way Remy took care of Maria, both physically and emotionally? Reader, I ate that sh*t up.

The Redo was such a sweet second-chance romance. After standing on the side lines while all his younger siblings found their happiness, it had to take someone special to break through all the roadblocks Remy set up to keep from being hurt again. Maria came back into his life just at the right time.

If you've read any of the previous Winslow books (which I highly recommend in order to get the full picture during this book), or just any Max Monroe books in general, then you know to expect some amazing spice. The Redo is absolutely no exception to that, with Remy and Maria smoldering on the page. Oddly, though, I would have actually been completely okay had the whole book focused on all the ways Remy provided for Maria outside of the bedroom; the spice was definitely A+, but Remy was such a good caretaker that those scenes were just as hot as the actual spice.

Overall, The Redo was just a great read. It was pure culmination of the previous three books while also giving Remy the attention and HEA he's so deserved. Every Winslow ended up being my favorite after I read their book, and I'm really glad Max and Monroe ended with Remy. Watching the stern Remy of the previous books take a backseat to the loving protector was absolute perfection.

Put a finger down if you're a Max Monroe reader who has been waiting for Remy Winslow to get his own book since you read his younger sister Winnie's book Scoring the Billionaire.

*puts a finger down* and *looks around*

You too? Awesome! Well, you're going to LOVE The Redo then. Remy is everything you hoped he would be, and he finally gets his chance at forever with someone super special. Max Monroe saved Lexi's (and my) favorite Winslow brother for last.

What was so great about Remy? He's got confidence, drive, has a great relationship with his family, dotes on his niece, and wants to take care of those he loves when he can. His only little flaw is that he doesn't do relationships. (We all know why!) That's about to change when he reconnects with his high school sweetheart Maria.

Maria wasn't planning on being a mother. She's a workaholic whose business and sister has been everything she's needed in her life. Life has thrown her some serious punches and now she's having to navigate them. Luckily for her, she reconnects with Remy.

Remy and Maria reconnecting at the current times in their lives was really cool. I loved that initial seeing each other again for the first time moment and how everything thing progressed from there. There was a lot to work through from Maria's pregnancy and motherhood to Remy's avoidance of relationships. Through it all my favorite thing was how Remy and Maria took care of each other and eventually Izzy. Those Izzy moments were especially special to me and reminded me a bit of seeing my husband become a father. *Sigh*

I did have some other favorite things about this book. You know it's the Winslow family. I don't think I'll ever get enough of them. There was so much text message goodness between the brothers. Winnie and mama Wendy brought the love and support. Remy and Lexi had some touching and funny moments in their uncle/niece relationship. Even Thatcher Kelly (we'll call him family at this point) showed up to bring the laughs. Having all these people involved made Remy and Maria's romance even more fun than it already was.

OH! I almost forgot the fortune teller! I LOVED what Max Monroe did with her character in this book. Things truly came full circle with her involved.

I do have one little "not my thing" thing to mention. I am not a big fan of flashbacks. There are several flashbacks throughout this book that take the reader through some special/important moments in Remy and Maria's high school relationship. While they helped give background to Remy and Maria's previous, adorable relationship I didn't like being sucked out of the current time frame. That's just a "me thing", though. I will probably always say that about flashback I encounter while reading.

So, yeah. I loved this final Winslow Brothers book. I'm so happy that Remy finally got the story he deserved. I am sad to see the series end, but I know Max Monroe will grace us with something just as good in the future. I'm also pretty sure this won't be the last we'll see of these characters anyways. ;) They seem to pop up when we least expect it.

Well the last thing I expected to do when I started this book was to finish it without a single break. I wanted to savor the last Winslow brother book...and I failed for the best reason. This book was way to hard to put down. Remy and Maria are amazing and I loved the throwback scenes building their past relationship too.

Remy's background with Cleo, the fortune teller was a spectacular add to this story and something that was completely unexpected.

Maria and Remy are a great example of fate and timing. Their relationship wasn't meant to be in high school, but they have their chance at a love again nearly 25 years later. They had amazing chemistry, a stable friendship, and just so much heart and love that I adored them.

It's a bittersweet ending to finish the Winslow Brothers and I hope we get to see them in future books!
