I really liked the characters in it and I loved the conversations between them - could really picture it. But it felt like one of Christie's more obvious whodunnits - maybe one too many clues.

A good mystery overall, but I felt it had the potential to be more thrilling and sinister, particularly with two murders in rapid succession. I appreciated the lightheartedness of Bundle’s character and also found Lord Caterham very amusing, but the juxtaposition between their behaviour and the seriousness of the storyline was discordant. What’s more, I do enjoy plot twists, but when they appear so close to the end, followed by a lengthy and rambling explanation, it really is a lot to take in! The Seven Dials Mystery is interesting enough, but the ending felt rushed and left something to be desired.
