X-23 continues wandering around trying to figure out who she is. Includes Jubilee as a vampire but also less annoying than she used to be. And an encounter with the Fantastic Four and the Fantastic Four Foundation or something like it. Not the best, but a good solid read. The art could be a touch better, there was a certain amount of sameness to the character's look from panel to panel. 3.5 of 5.

This actually made me care for Jubilee -the chick with the power of fireworks, I think. Plus the Fantastic Four were interesting. This creative team is truly gifted.

Okay. This Volume Was Everything. I think this arc has been the best so far in this line. Laura's support network of logan, JUBILEE (i was so excited) and gambit it so incredibly meaningful in regards to how Laura sees herself, because she doesn't recognise them as these people who care about her, it is only towards the end that she says she has gambit's back like he has hers. I AM SO HAPPY AHHH FOR LAURA.

And then, I believe, some characters from the fantastic 4 appeared? and Laura Kinney was a vessel for actual, physical light.

The artist for this series does beautiful work. She even manages to make Wolverine look strangely pretty.

Jubilee is just a joy to read, she's so endearing (even as a vampire). I love that she just takes to Laura so easily, even after their less-than-friendly first meeting.
