A couple of long running story threads resolve in the current volume. Invincible encounters the results of his ethical dilemmas and the leadership struggle takes a surprising turn.

There is 0 pacing in this title anymore. Huge events just happen seemingly for no reason over the course of a couple pages. It's really hard to follow. Hopefully Kirkman got it all out of his system in this collection and will settle down for the next.

Clever way to get around the Viltrumite issue that's been having over the series a while, though it does make me curious as to where we'll go from here.

I continue to dig this book. Artwork is always good, and things rarely go where expected. Not entirely wild about all the various story lines going on, as it's gotten a bit unruly in places. Also, I want more Dinosaurus, and well...no spoilers here.

There is a point where "I am going to tell you what really happenned" becomes tiresome and this seems to do it, again. The Dinosaurus storyline had glimpses of relevant discussio, yet the fail beneath the bigger picture trope that we have seen. But hey, Eve is pregnant so, yay?

No spoilers. Really good arc that progresses the story and good set up for what's coming next.

3.5 from me . Coz honestly I was a bit disappointed by how abruptly every big arc ended . The Dinosaurs vs Invincible arc , the true heir of vilturmite arc . It was all so abrupt and understanding .

There was a lot of dark moments in this though , specifically the one about bulletproof and the fact that Mark was actually responsible for something big . Those were the big moments for me in this arc .

There were a lot of big changes for characters in this book as well , so that was a nice surprise as well . Honestly this is still better than 90% of the books I generally read but by invincible standards , I found it a bit disappointing

This was a pretty surreal read for me. Why? Because the first issue I ever bought of Invincible was number 97, the first of this volume. It might’ve been my first time reading this trade.

Anyways, what a great read. The stories just keep getting better and better. Dinosaurus was such a great villain and Mark getting a semi-redemption was nice. AND THE BLUE SUIT RETURNED. I just love the dark and unexplored superhero territory they go to on such a frequent basis. I also love how this entire arc was laid out in joking terms by the creator of Science Dog. It reminds me of Thunder Gun Express from Always Sunny.

More seeds were sown with Bulletproof, Angstrom (great joke from Cecil as well), Anissa, Eve being pregnant, and Nolan becoming the Emperor of Viltrum (which makes me remember why I like the ending of The Viltrumite War again).

These later volumes I haven’t read nearly as much as the ones Viltrumite War and before, so it’s almost like I’m reading them for the first time again and it’s been a blast.

The art was second to none. Especially in that splash page issue. How can someone draw water so well? I love this book.
