Love this series, not a huge love triangle girly, but it is a fun book
I really enjoyed this read. Another quick and fun one. This came at the recommendation of a long time friend, so I’m glad it didn’t disappoint.
The concept of the book was interesting and I enjoyed how each of the characters back stories unraveled throughout the book. I wasn’t a huge fan of the love triangle that inserted itself into the story, I feel that it was unnecessary and didn’t benefit the plot at all. But I love that other than that each character was distinctly themselves with their own voices.
Per usual, I did figure out who out culprit was, but not until a little later on in the book. I also didn’t see the twist ending coming. I love a good plot twist.
Other than a good, well written story, this book didn’t leave me emotionally drained, a 5 star check point for me. So because of that this is a four star rating.

This book was so f***ing good!! I didn’t want to put it down at all, and when I did, I was running back to it like wtf. First of all, the plot twist in this book gave me f***ing whiplash. I didn’t even think the serial killer could be Locke. I was questioning Michael. I’m like, damn, is it Dean? No, because they’re always with her and stuck in the house. Is it Briggs? So yeah, your girl was gagged at the end, and then on top of that she turned out to be her aunt!?!?
Second of all, anytime an author gives me a subplot of romance, I’m gonna eat it tf up every time. And this had a love triangle on top of that! THAT WAS DONE WELL!! PLEASE!! I’m a Michael girly, btdubs. It’s just something about his sarcasm. Like he’s got this charm, this charisma that I just love in a character. But then I also like Dean too, so honestly, whoever she ends up choosing, I’ll be okay with. But yk, team Michael! 🫶🏾🫶🏾
