I liked this book for what it was(a lighthearted story about a kid who gets to go on an adventure)but I felt it was a bit young for me and nonsensical at times.

The last bear is a beautiful story of the friendship between a young girl and a lost bear. I really loved the vibes and the message, but it was also difficult to read at times due to the subject matter. I think Hannah really captured the way children wish to form bonds with animals and how we lose the touch with nature when we grow up. I personally struggled with reading on, but when I got into the last 100 pages I flew through it. The pacing could've been better, but overal an enjoyable read. 6.71 on CAWPILE TW// climate change, child neglect
