Re-reading the whole series for nostalgia!

My 2023 options is that this is pretty good, though a lot of the love triangle stuff was very unnecessary. I’d rather have spent more time with Lara Jean learning about herself in other ways. Not as good as the first book, but I liked seeing how the characters matured and felt that a lot of the conflicts made sense for their age and situation.

The song girls always make me smile!

This was so adorable! I loved it just as much as the first book. I listened to this on audio book, and it made it even cuter! The narrator did such an amazing job of making Lara Jean sound so real, I could imagine every scene perfectly. I physically read the first book, and now I wished I'd listened to it. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the series will finish.

I started this and then got distracted and never finished it. But once I picked it up again, I flew through it.

This isn't as good as the first and is a lot of Lara Jean figuring this out in a lot of aspects. I like being able to see how she is growing but do feel this was a bit long for that. There were some things we didn't need the details for but at the same time, gave us more of a glimpse of Lara Jean.

Onto the last book!

A ten konec, maximálně vyvedený. Už teď jsem zvědavá na třetí díl.

Argh! I love this sequel but it also made me so sad. Lara Jean and Peter K. finally make things work after their fake relationship, but there is trouble in paradise ahead. I feel like I really want to love Peter and all that he has done for Lara Jean. But at the same time, he can be so inconsiderate about her feelings! I mean, Genevieve holds a certain spot in his heart. But Lara Jean should be first, because she is his actual girlfriend. This made me really angry at Peter. And also, John Ambrose Mclaren! He is really quite adorable and a complete gentleman. I actually end up thinking that he would be great for Lara Jean in this book. Why settle for a guy who treats you like second best when there is someone who would put you first?
