Even though I read this for school, I really enjoyed it, made me think and feel things. I know Ibsen didn’t necessarily intend this to be feminist but he delivered. The language and all the talk about love in a marriage and what women had to do to keep the man happy, just made me realise the real set up.

I really enjoyed this, I think I would genuinely adore it live. I don't have a huge amount to say about it as it's a short enough read and I feel like the story itself is pretty self evident? Most of my comments are like how much I like the single setting and the use of stage directions and all that stuff.

I found the play to be interesting at some points, for example Nora being a new woman and leaving her unhappy marriage, but the play didn't have any climaxes, and overall left me feeling indifferent. I didn't particularly like Nora or any of the characters, so A Doll's House is not something that I will be rereading or watching a performance of, because at the end it left me feeling almost bored and I just didn't like it.
