I finally finished out The Season of the Wolves, this one I am struggling between a 3.5/4 star rating. It wasn’t my favorite of The Season of the Wolves. There were some grammatical errors (very minor). There was slight repetition during some parts, where I felt was slight overkill on the information being brought up over and over. This book had some great dark elements being thrown into the mix, but was ultimately overshadowed by a lot of cutesy/sweet moments. Which is fine, but I personally would have enjoyed less cute moments and instead focused on the raw emotions that were a result of those said dark elements. I enjoyed seeing past characters intermingled in this book. And actually realized that my favorite couple from this particular trio of books is Laurel and Thorne (Book 2 The Solace of Sharp Claws). The ending of the book felt slightly rushed and a little underwhelming, I must admit. I am looking forward to now being able to continue this series in consecutive order; as I have already read Book 4 (The Secrets in Shadow and Blood). I can now jump into Book 5!
