It has taken me so long to finish this book, mainly thanks to the pandemic, so here’s my review:

I LOVE this series; it has to be my favorite series of all time, so this may be biased. A tale of superpowered teenagers fighting against evil conspiracies and governments that want to use them? YES. Anyway, I loved how this book drove a wedge between our main characters, continued to develop them, and end the book in a way that sets up the final book in this sequel trilogy nicely. The end was SO satisfying, as you get to see the Fugitive Six all use their powers to fight each other, or other villains. I like the use of the characters from the parent series, but their roles are basically cameos, which is good, because they shouldn’t overshadow the new people. I am so excited for the last book, yet terrified of what might happen.

3.5 Stars. not a bad book at all, i just found it partially confusing. maybe I read through it too fast, but I still can’t wait for the next book
