The plot can best be summed up: And then it got worse, in the funniest way possible.

So funny and incisive. Kept elbowing my friends and making them listen to me read aloud the best bits

This might be the best Wodehouse story I've read so far and it left me guffawing so badly, I had to stop reading to calm myself down.
The story starts quite slow but picks up pace once Bertie Wooster visits Brinkley Court to wreak havoc on Aunt Dahlia's household by interfering in the lives of his school mates Fink-Nottle and Tuppy, in an effort to prove he is just as sagacious as Jeeves.

This was on my Kindle, tucked away as an odd-moment read. So delightful…so much going on for that to work. Never a shortage of laugh out loud moments. Bertie is the kind of character who’s worth keeping on a book tucked away in a side pocket of your purse (as is Jeeves, for that matter). How Bertie gets into the situation… and then how Jeeves gets it all solved… well, that’s all the fun reading, isn’t it?

Laugh out loud funny, which I never normally do with a book.
I liked the audiobook except for one very BIG thing: the author used the same voice for narration and for Bertie Wooster. I know that Wooster was the narrator but it made it hard to distinguish when he was talking and when he was thinking something. In the past when I've read other books, such as David Copperfield, the author uses two different voices to help make it cleared for the listener to understand. Other than that I loved his voices.

Fabulous as always. I think I've read it before - I've certainly read the section with Gussie Fink-Nottle giving out school prizes while plastered plenty of times - but it doesn't matter at all as the pleasure is in the wonderful language
