This one star is for the essay on nazi fetishism and the concept of a death fantasy.

Brilliant. Insightful. Incisive.

I’ll be referring back to this book a ton in my studies, tbh.

Loved the first four essays, wasn’t as in love with the fascism essays, though the interview as the last section was insightful.

50 years later, still holds up

would recommend (personally resonated with her writing here more than in on photography)

I loved the first half! Genuinely challenged some of my beliefs about feminity. I always identified with being more feminine but this made me strive to aim differently, especially in the workplace.

However the second half includes her essays on fascism and I found myself getting bored - sue me!

Pensando en las manos que nos entregan los libros.

Toda una aventura leer a Susan Sontag por primera vez y me gustó mucho.

os primeiros ensaios eram os mais interessantes, a partir do meio começou a ser secante
