This is a book that I have hyped for myself since Jack announced it a few months ago, and while certain aspects of this certainly delivered (read: the smut was very fun), there were other portions of the story that felt like they were lacking. I don't know if I ever really felt any chemistry between the two leads? Like, yes, they had sexual chemistry,,,, but not much else? Part of me wishes that maybe this had been 50 pages longer, just to flesh out their relationship better.
Regardless, this is a very fast, very fun ride, and ultimately I do think that it accomplished everything that it set out to do. For me, it was like really solidly fine, or even good. But I don't know if this is really going to stick with me much?
I will read literally anything Jack writes, so this one bump is not going to change anything.
