Would’ve preferred a little less focus on hormonal teenage boys and a lot more focus on the Dead Poets Society.

Definitely think the movie is much better than the book!

I will never recover from this.

ok so it isn't perfect by a long shot and the film is 100 times better than the book but I found that reading the book and annotating it was a way to compile my thoughts abt the story and stuff.

no the writing isn't amaizing but ya know what the story is good enough that I was distracted and I honestly loved it

Neil Perry my love I am so sorry.

I mean, it was all right. Since the book was based on a movie this was the one time I’ve ever said the movie was better. The plot was just extremely lacking because there wasn’t really anyway you could diverge from what was already created. For some reason though,
Neil’s death scene was extremely downplayed in the boom and was even different than in the movie which I thought was weird
. Overall I really do just adore this movie so it wasn’t a terrible read.

it was really easy to read and u could understand everything. it didn’t really feel like a book tho. probably bc it’s adapted off of a movie but i have to say i really like the movie here better. i especially recommend this to people who have a hard time getting through a book
