I wanted to love this, I really did. The premise seemed amazing, and the art is lovely (especially the vibrant colours). While the premise and art remain pretty great, the best part of the book was probably the introduction providing the history of Jews fleeing Russia and ending up in Argentina, the actual path the author's own family took. Unfortunately, a lot of the book was something of a racist mess, and the actual story didn't live up to the premise at all.
