A beautiful book of poetry. It doesn't seem that way at first, but the way his lines bend and flow and sweep is subtly transportive, creating an sequence of personal memoir and memory. A very stimulating read due to it's ambiguity, image work, and sense of mystery.
I can't decide how to feel about this. Sure, there were beautiful passages, but I think it was trying hard to be something it is not. There was a lot of potential here. It didn't really work for me.
i need to reread this bc i was in high school when i thought this was peak poetry, my view will change methinks

There is a deep meaning to each one if it is the poem or the picture, I felt a lot of connection between the pic and the title and the poem itself, the poems are cool to read whenever u feel like reading something emotional!

2 stars for the effort.. I wanted the photos to match the poems, they didn’t add anything and they felt irrelevant for the most of the book.
